MLAs and Senior Dy Mayor inaugurate newly constructed public toilets and puli in Namak Mand
For facilitating the visitors in the market and residents of the area at large, Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi and Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Prashar inaugurated the newly constructed public toilets and a puli (bridge) constructed over a drain in Namak Mandi (Gur Mandi- ward number 90) area on Wednesday.

Ludhiana, July 30, 2025: For facilitating the visitors in the market and residents of the area at large, Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi and Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Prashar inaugurated the newly constructed public toilets and a puli (bridge) constructed over a drain in Namak Mandi (Gur Mandi- ward number 90) area on Wednesday.
The projects have been taken up at a cost of around Rs 20 lakh.
MLA Bagga, MLA Prashar and Senior Deputy Mayor Prashar said that the purpose of these project is to provide essential facilities to the residents at grassroot level.
They stated that in the coming days, major road construction projects would also be taken up including the projects for reconstruction of Gurdwara Dukhniwaran Sahib road, Gurdwara Kalgidhar Singh Sabha road and Pindi Gali area. Signboards would be installed across ward number 90.
Local residents and traders of the Namak Mandi (Gur Mandi) area were also present during the inauguration ceremony.
MLA Madan Lal Bagga, MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi and Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Prashar assured the people that, in the future as well, development work in these areas will continue on a priority basis to ensure further progress.
Sunil Tangri, Kamal Adia, Kuldeep Singh, Amit Sharma, Ramesh Sharma, Gulshan Thukral, Dhiren Agarwal, Happy Vohra, Sherry Takkar, Ramesh Jain, Vijay Singhania, Shanti Taneja, SC Arora, YS Ahuja among others were present during the inauguration ceremony.
