MLA Sahnewal announces to donate his one month's salary to farmers as compensation for crop loss

Sahnewal (Ludhiana), March 30, 2023: Hardeep Singh Mundian, MLA of Sahnewal Assembly Constituency today announced to give his one month salary to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to provide relief to the farmers. He said that due to continuous unseasonal rains in Punjab, farmers' crops are getting damaged. 

Due to which Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Sahnewal Hardeep Singh Mundian today took stock of the damaged crops in the villages and announced an appeal to put his one month's salary in the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, on this occasion he said that the farmers have suffered heavy losses.  It is difficult to compensate for the loss, but at this time the government and the legislators are standing with the farmers.

Meanwhile, farmers in the villages have expressed apprehension of 50 to 70 percent crop damage, and farmers say that 50 to 70 percent of the wheat crop has been damaged so far.

MLA Hardeep Singh Mudian appealed to the administrative officials present on the spot to immediately investigate the damaged crops of the farmers and give them the relief amount announced by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. There is a need, so he announced to donate his salary for the month of March to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
