MLA Prashar kick starts 11 projects worth Rs 2.84 crore to strengthen water supply infrastructure 

With an aim to strengthen the water supply infrastructure, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi kick-started 11 projects worth Rs 2.84 crore in different wards of the constituency on Monday.

Ludhiana, March 11, 2024: With an aim to strengthen the water supply infrastructure, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi kick-started 11 projects worth Rs 2.84 crore in different wards of the constituency on Monday.

These included the projects to install new water supply lines and tubewells to streamline supply of potable water. 
   
Speaking of the projects kick started on Monday, MLA Prashar said that these included the projects to install new tubewells in Ganesh Nagar, near Islamia School, Qila Mohalla and near Nathu Ram Jal Ghar (near Hanuman Mandir).
     
Further, projects have also been commenced to install water supply lines in Dhokka Mohalla, Civil hospital road, Sikandri road in Khud Mohalla, Rai Bahadur road, Shankar Puri, Dhai Marla colony and Basant Bagh, Madrasi Camp and Jilt Wali Gali. These projects will prove beneficial for residents in ward number (old wards) 54, 55, 56, 59, 60, 62 and adjoining areas.

MLA Prashar said that residents were facing troubles even in the supply of potable water as the leaders of the traditional parties had failed to resolve the issues in the past. But the Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann led state government is now working to resolve these issues and quality infrastructure is being developed across the state. 
        
MLA Prashar further stated that projects worth crores are being taken up in Ludhiana Central constituency and more projects would be kick started in the coming days. 

Gagandeep Singh, Jonny, Swaran, Ajay Nayyar Tanki, Subhash Kapoor, Dinesh Tulli, Anil Parti, Alka Malhotra, Arwinder Kaur, Deepak Makan, Satnam Ahuja, Sanjeev Rana, Anil Gogna among others were also present during the inauguration ceremonies.
