MLA Prashar inaugurate road construction projects worth Rs 1.46 crore in different wards of central constituency 

Ludhiana, October 12, 2023: Moving forward with the agenda to develop road infrastructure, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi inaugurated road construction projects worth Rs 1.46 crore in different wards of the constituency on Thursday.

MLA Prashar inaugurated the project to construct streets in Rari Mohalla (ward number 62) at a cost of Rs 25.59 lakh and kick started the work to construct different streets in ward number 60 at a cost of Rs 50.30 lakh.

Similarly, the legislator inaugurated the projects to construct Kashmir Nagar nullah road (ward number 57) and different streets of Dhai Marla colony near Daresi (ward number 59) at a cost of Rs 46.89 lakh and 23.96 lakh respectively.

MLA Prashar said that the roads were in bad condition for a long time and he had taken up the issue with the civic body officials. The projects to reconstruct the above stated roads have been commenced. The authorities have been directed to keep a check on the quality of the roads and complete the projects within the stipulated time period.
 
MLA Prashar stated that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led state government is working for overall development of the state. A large number of development works are being taken up in Ludhiana central constituency and strict action will be taken against the concerned contractors or officials, if any discrepancies are found in respect to the quality of works.

MLA Prashar said that he has also been taking feedback from the public and the suggestions of the public are also being incorporated while taking up development works in the constituency. More development works would be inaugurated in the constituency in the coming days.
