MLA Prashar inaugurate project worth Rs 1.40 crore to construct retaining wall and road alongside 'Buddha Dariya'

For improving road infrastructure and to ensure safety of residents, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi inaugurated the project to construct retaining wall and road alongside 'Buddha Dariya' at the backside of Gurdwara Gaughat Sahib on Friday.

Ludhiana, May 16, 2025: For improving road infrastructure and to ensure safety of residents, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi inaugurated the project to construct retaining wall and road alongside 'Buddha Dariya' at the backside of Gurdwara Gaughat Sahib on Friday.  

The project is being taken up at a cost of around Rs 1.40 crore and a concrete road would be constructed for facilitating the residents. Councillor (ward number 10) Pardeep Sharma Gabby, ward incharge (ward number 83) Raju Vohra among other AAP volunteers and residents of the area were present during the inauguration ceremony.

MLA Prashar said this project is a part of the major project which was launched in the past to construct a road on the other side of 'Buddha Dariya'. 

MLA Prashar said that a large number of development projects are being taken up in Ludhiana central constituency and more projects worth crores would be launched in the coming days. 

The state government led by Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann is developing quality road infrastructure across the state. Construction of the road on the other side of Buddha Dariya will help the city residents in many ways. It will streamline the movement of traffic and give a major push to development in the nearby areas, added MLA Prashar.
