MLA Chhina, zonal commissioners hold meeting with councillors; took feedback and issue directions to expedite devp works

Ludhiana, December 19, 2025: With an aim to expedite development works, Ludhiana South MLA Rajinder Pal Kaur Chhina alongwith Zonal Commissioners Neeraj Jain and Gurpal Singh conducted a meeting with the councillors at MC Zone C office on Gill road on Friday.
Councillors Satpal Singh, Rajesh Mishra, Jaswinder Singh, Kuldeep Kaur Saroj Manan, Baljeet Kaur among others were present in the meeting.
During the meeting, feedback was taken from the councillors in context to what steps can be taken to facilitate the residents at large. Directions were issued to the civic body officials to address any problems being faced by councillors/residents at the earliest.
Further, the concerned officials of the civic body were directed to expedite development works and ensure cleanliness across the city.
Working on the directions of Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur and MC Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal, similar meetings are also being conducted by zonal commissioners with the councillors in their respective zones.
MLA Chhina, Zonal Commissioner Neeraj Jain and Zonal Commissioner Gurpal Singh stated that the concerned officials have been directed that no laxity would be tolerated in terms of the development works and cleanliness.
MLA Chhina stated that they have been working for the betterment of the city rising above the party lines and development works are being taken up in every ward without any discrimination.
