MLA Bagga, Mayor Inderjit Kaur inaugurate newly built Kundanpuri puli over Buddha Dariya
Project to streamline movement of traffic and help to avoid waterlogging in nearby areas
Ludhiana, November 15, 2025: In a major development, Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga and Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur inaugurated the newly built Kundanpuri puli over Buddha Dariya on Saturday.
The puli has been constructed at a cost of around Rs 1.19 crore and this will benefit the residents at large.
Councillor Aman Bagga, Tejinder Kaur Raja, Tejinder Singh Raja, councillor Pushpinder Bhanot Bittu, councillor Kashmir Kaur's husband Ashok Kumar, councillor Narinder Bhardwaj, councillor Aradhna Surinder Atwal, Councillor Neeraj Ahuja, Gurvir Bajwa, Anil Sharma, Shallu Railowal, Principal Ritu, Gursharan Singh, Ashwani Kaka, Ajay Sondhi, Bharat Jathi, Dr Sandhu, Samrat Sharma, Jaswinder Verma, Dharmesh Dinesh, Harish, Raju among others were present during the inauguration ceremony.
MLA Bagga and Mayor Inderjit Kaur stated that the old Kundanpuri puli was in bad shape for a long time. Also waste used to get stuck below the puli during rainy season due to its low height. Due to this, the flow of Buddha Dariya also used to get affected resulting in waterlogging in the nearby areas.
MLA Bagga and Mayor Inderjit Kaur said that the newly built puli will not only help in avoiding waterlogging, but this will also streamline the movement of traffic in the entire area.
MLA Bagga stated that soon projects to construct Shivpuri puli and Bhai Manna Singh Nagar puli would also be completed which will further streamline the flow of traffic in the North constituency.
MLA Bagga and Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur stated that Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann led state government is working to ensure sustainable development across the state. Quality infrastructure is being developed to facilitate the public and the resolve the issued being faced at ground level.
