MLA and DC review progress of Kidwai Nagar School of Eminence project
Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Parashar Pappi and Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain inspected the ongoing construction of the School of Eminence (SOE) in Kidwai Nagar, accompanied by officials from the Education Department, Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT), and Public Works Department (PWD).

Ludhiana, July 10, 2025: Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Parashar Pappi and Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain inspected the ongoing construction of the School of Eminence (SOE) in Kidwai Nagar, accompanied by officials from the Education Department, Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT), and Public Works Department (PWD).
During the review, the MLA and DC announced that all construction work at the Kidwai Nagar SOE is on fast track for completion within the next two months. They noted rapid progress on key components, including ramps, security guard rooms, and electrical installations. Necessary funds and approvals for changes in the project scope have been secured. The officials from LIT were directed to expedite efforts to meet the deadline.
The MLA and DC emphasized that the School of Eminence will feature state-of-the-art facilities, including smart classrooms, modern infrastructure, advanced laboratories, CCTV surveillance, and well-equipped playgrounds for various sports. The SOE initiative, championed by the Punjab government under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, aims to transform the education sector by fostering holistic student development and ensuring a brighter future. They urged officials to deliver their best to ensure timely completion of all pending work.
