ADC (DEVELOPMENT) REVIEWS PROGRESS OF ACTIVITIES OF DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS TODAY

Ludhiana: A review meeting of Punjab government’s Mission Tandrust Punjab was held at the office of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) in District Administrative Complex, here today. This meeting was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Mrs Amrit Singh and was attended by senior officials of the District Administration.

During the meeting, the progress of activities of all government departments under Mission Tandrust Punjab was reviewed. The ADC (D) Mrs Amrit Singh directed all the departments to ensure that they carry out activities of their respective departments on daily basis. She also directed that the activities should be planned in such a manner that they are different from the concerned department’s routine activities.

Mrs Amrit Singh also directed the departments under Mission Tandrust Punjab to send their progress reports on time, so that their activities can be updated on daily basis. She also asked them to work jointly for the success of this programme.

She also warned that departments that are not holding regular events under Mission Tandrust Punjab, their heads would be held directly responsible. The absence of some of the departments from the meeting was taken seriously and directions were issued to issue show cause notices to such departments.
