MDU VC Prof. Poonia inspects exam centers and reviews the entrance exam arrangements
Entrance examinations for undergraduate (UG) courses—Bachelor in Public Health Sciences, B.Sc. (Genetics), and B.Com. (four-year)—at MDU for the academic session 2026-27 were conducted peacefully and in an organized manner on Wednesday.
Rohtak, June 10, 2026: Entrance examinations for undergraduate (UG) courses—Bachelor in Public Health Sciences, B.Sc. (Genetics), and B.Com. (four-year)—at MDU for the academic session 2026-27 were conducted peacefully and in an organized manner on Wednesday.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Milap Poonia visited the examination centers to take stock of the arrangements. He reviewed the measures regarding security, transparency, and discipline, and instructed officials to ensure the admission process is conducted in a completely fair and orderly manner. He also interacted with the candidates to gather feedback on the arrangements.
Registrar Prof. Sandeep Bansal, COE Prof. Rahul Rishi, and Director of Public Relations Sunit Mukherjee accompanied him.
For the Bachelor in Public Health Sciences course, 56 candidates appeared for the entrance exam, while 26 were absent. For B.Sc. (Genetics), 170 candidates appeared and 117 were absent; for B.Com. (four-year), 294 candidates appeared and 178 were absent.
Director PR Sunit Mukherjee stated that on Thursday, June 11, the entrance exam for B.Sc. Mathematics (four-year) will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM; the exam for B.Sc. Statistics (four-year) from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM; and the Common Entrance Test for BHMCT, BTTM, MHMCT, and BBA (Hospitality and Services Management) from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM.
