MDU Students Get Startup Lessons at GenH Startup Summit ’26
Around 20 students of Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak (MDU) participated in the ‘Yuva Udyami Chaupal’ at the GenH Startup Summit ’26 in Gurugram, gaining insights into startups, innovation and entrepreneurship. The summit was inaugurated by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.

Rohtak, August 22, 2026: Around 20 students of Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak (MDU) participated in the ‘Yuva Udyami Chaupal’ at the GenH Startup Summit ’26 in Gurugram, gaining insights into startups, innovation and entrepreneurship. The summit was inaugurated by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
Through interactive sessions and master classes, the students learned how to turn startup ideas into viable businesses, launch ventures with limited resources, develop AI-driven business models, scale affordable solutions and effectively reach markets and customers.
The students also interacted with leading startup founders, investors and industry leaders, gaining first-hand insights into startup challenges, funding opportunities and evolving market needs. The interactions helped them develop a sharper perspective on transforming ideas into viable business ventures.
Prof. Dr. Ashish Dahiya of the IHTM led the delegation, while Prof. Ajit Kumar of the Centre for Bioinformatics coordinated the visit as nodal officer.
