MDU Chemistry Department Shines in HPSC-2025, 10 Students Selected as Assistant Professors
Ten students and alumni of the Chemistry Department of Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) have cleared HPSC-2025 and been selected as Assistant Professors in Chemistry under Haryana Education Service (HES-II). One of the selections is in the Polytechnic cadre.

Rohtak, August 31, 2026: Ten students and alumni of the Chemistry Department of Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) have cleared HPSC-2025 and been selected as Assistant Professors in Chemistry under Haryana Education Service (HES-II). One of the selections is in the Polytechnic cadre.
The selected candidates include six research scholars and five former students—Dr Kapisha Nehra, Vandana Aggarwal, Rishu, Rinki, Ankita, Dr Sanjay Sharma, Dr Deepak Sharma, Saurav Verma, Amit Kumar and Kuldeep. Dr Kapisha, Vandana Aggarwal, Rishu and Rinki pursued their PhD research under the supervision of Department Chairperson Prof Devender Singh.
Prof Singh congratulated the successful candidates, saying the achievement reflected the department’s strong academic and research culture. He urged them to use their knowledge and experience to help shape students’ futures.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Milap Poonia, Registrar Prof Sandeep Bansal, Prof Singh and faculty members also congratulated the selected candidates and their families.
