MC rehabilitates 31 families of Sant Pura and Kabir Basti near Dhuri line in BSUP flats - MLA Prashar
Working under the guidance of Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi and MC Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal, Municipal Corporation (MC) rehabilitated 31 families of Sant Pura and Kabir Basti near Dhuri line in BSUP flats situated in Dhandari Kalan area on Saturday.

Ludhiana, December 7, 2024: Working under the guidance of Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi and MC Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal, Municipal Corporation (MC) rehabilitated 31 families of Sant Pura and Kabir Basti near Dhuri line in BSUP flats situated in Dhandari Kalan area on Saturday.
MLA Prashar stated that these families had approached him in the past raising concern over their livelihood. He had taken up the matter with the civic body officials.
The civic body has now allotted the flats established under Basic Services for Urban Poor (BSUP) scheme to these 31 families.
MC Commissioner Dachalwal said that the civic body is ensuring basic amenities for the residents in BSUP flats.
MLA Prashar said that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led state government is committed for the welfare of the residents and steps are being taken to facilitate each and every sector.
