MBA Agribusiness Management Students Secure Prestigious Internship Opportunities

Students of the MBA (Agribusiness Management) programme at Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, have secured internship opportunities with leading national organizations through a series of placement interviews conducted recently.

Students of the MBA (Agribusiness Management) programme at Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, have secured internship opportunities with leading national organizations through a series of placement interviews conducted recently.

The Placement and Industry Coordination Cell of the University organized a special internship placement drive for first-year MBA Agribusiness Management students. Representatives from ITC visited the campus to conduct internship interviews, while Amul carried out its selection process through online interviews.

Following the selection process, Himanshi Hill and Ittu Rattan were selected by Coca-Cola, while Palki Gupta, Shruti Singh, and Sarah Ramengmawii will intern at Hill Farm Organics Pvt. Ltd. Students selected by Amul include Aryan, Kanika, Nikhil, Ritul, Sakshi, and Abhinav. Aman Sharma, Amandeep Singh, Harsh Kumar, Suryansh Pathania, and Yogeshwar have been selected for internships with ITC. All the students will receive a monthly stipend during the internship.

These selections reflect the growing industry recognition and employability of the MBA Agribusiness Management programme. The selected students will undergo a two-month internship programme during July and August. These internships will provide valuable practical exposure and hands-on experience in agribusiness, marketing, and allied sectors, helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry expectations.

The Department congratulated the selected students and acknowledged the support and collaboration of the participating organizations in strengthening industry-academia linkages and enhancing experiential learning opportunities.

The internship placement drive was coordinated by Dr. Kapil Kathuria, Dr. Rashmi Chaudhary and Dr. Yasmin. Congratulating the students, Vice-Chancellor Dr HS Baweja said that the University remains committed to providing quality internship and employment opportunities through strong industry partnerships and alumni networks. He added that such opportunities offer valuable industry exposure and help students understand the evolving requirements of the corporate sector.
