Children's Day is observed on November 14 in India to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The day is celebrated across the country to increase the awareness about the rights, welfare, and education of the children.

Teach the children how to think rather than what to think. The way you are going to implant the seeds, it’s going to bloom in that way. So, be kind towards the kids.

Being Principal of such a reputed school I have a responsibility to shoulder. My vision is to establish this school as a revered institution while grooming the child of today to be a capable, responsible, performing citizen and enabling growth holistically by creating a mature learning environment with the teaching and parental community at large. I have a team that values the need to support the Social and Academic Development of every single one of their students above all else. I see parents actively working alongside teachers to achieve shared goals. I hear conversations that focus on bringing everyone together because 'many minds are better than one'. These days because of the fast revolution in each and every sphere whether it is Science & Technology, Social Media, Parent-Children equation or Teacher-Student relationship we need to change our outlook. We need to inculcate the values of discipline, respect, punctuality, dedication instead of imposing them on our kids. We need to understand that times have evolved and this world is no longer the same as it was merely five years ago.

Students must believe that regularity to the school is a path to success for them and that each and every day is a new opportunity to shine in so many different ways.

Students these days are using technology to support their learning and development and are no longer dependent only on classroom teaching. To stay in pace with today’s generation, teachers must evolve. Teachers have to understand that learning can place outside a classroom as well. Above all I can say that I am an individual who finds strength in caring. We as educators must work in making school a place where smiling faces shine brightly and the sounds of laughter fill the grounds and where every day is an opportunity for everyone to achieve their full potential.
