Max Hospital Launches Oncology OPD Services at Rohtak
Max Super Speciality Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, today launched their Oncology OPD services at Rohtak in the presence of Dr. Anadi Pachaury, Associate Director and Unit Head- Surgical Oncology, and Dr. Amrita Ramaswami, Associate Director - Haemato-Oncology & BMT. These OPD services are launched in collaboration with Sukhija Diagnostic Centre, Rohtak.
Rohtak, January 28, 2026: Max Super Speciality Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, today launched their Oncology OPD services at Rohtak in the presence of Dr. Anadi Pachaury, Associate Director and Unit Head- Surgical Oncology, and Dr. Amrita Ramaswami, Associate Director - Haemato-Oncology & BMT. These OPD services are launched in collaboration with Sukhija Diagnostic Centre, Rohtak.
Dr. Anadi Pachaury will be available on 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and Dr Amrita Ramaswami will be available on 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Sukhija Diagnostic Centre, Rohtak for primary consultations & follow-ups.
Talking to media persons, Dr. Anadi Pachaury, termed the launch of these OPD services as a value addition to the healthcare services of Rohtak. He said that now the people in and around Rohtak need not have to travel to Delhi for primary consultations or follow ups.
Dr. Pachaury said early detection remains the cornerstone of successful cancer treatment and allows the patients to recover with improved outcomes. Advances like immunotherapy and targeted therapies have transformed outcomes, offering hope even in complex cancers. “Recognising warning signs early and adopting preventive measures greatly improve survival and quality of life,” he added.
Associate Director, Haematology Oncology & BMT, Dr. Amrita Ramaswami, said, Blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma demand timely recognition, as symptoms such as persistent fatigue, night sweats, unexplained fever, or abnormal blood tests can signal serious illness. With advancements in treatment including targeted therapy, immunotherapy, CAR T-cell therapy, and bone marrow transplant, patients can have long-term recovery.
Dr. Sriniket Mohan Raghavan (Senior Consultant) and Dr. Surendra Sukhija were also present on the occasion of launch.
