Rohtak, July 29, 2026: Max Super Speciality Hospital, Dwarka, has launched Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology OPD services in Rohtak.
Dr. Siddharth Sahai, Director and Unit Head of the Medical Oncology Department, and Dr. Deepika Chauhan, Director and Unit Head of the Radiation Oncology Department, were present on the occasion. Both specialist doctors will be available at the local Sunflag Hospital on the first Friday of every month, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, to provide primary consultations and follow-up care for patients.
Dr. Siddharth Sahai emphasized the critical importance of raising awareness about cancer and identifying early warning signs in time, noting that timely detection is the most crucial foundation for successful treatment. He highlighted the availability of facilities such as precision-based chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy, and the latest genetic and molecular tests.
Dr. Deepika Chauhan stated that timely detection of cancer is paramount for successful treatment. She noted that if early symptoms of cancer are recognized in time and immediate medical advice is sought, there can be significant improvement in both the patient's survival prospects and their quality of life.
