Matri Navami: Community Kitchen held
A 'Bhandara' or Community Kitchen was organized here on the occasion of 'Matri Navami'. This was the 80th 'Bhandara' organised by NGO Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation under the guidance of its founder Amitabh Rungta. The food was served to needy people from a fully equipped mobile van.

Panchkula, October 9, 2023: A 'Bhandara' or Community Kitchen was organized here on the occasion of 'Matri Navami'. This was the 80th 'Bhandara' organised by NGO Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation under the guidance of its founder Amitabh Rungta. The food was served to needy people from a fully equipped mobile van.
Rungta said on this occasion that on the day of 'Matri Navami', charity has special importance and all people should help the needy people and even animals around them and if possible, give them food.
The volunteers who took active part in making the 'Bhandara' a success included Anupama Rungta, Chaitanya Rungta, Pragati Rungta, Deepali Rungta, Sukhpal Singh, Suresh Jangra, Nidhi Sandhu, Ajay Sen, Sonam, Sushant, Ganesh, Amar Sunil, Seema, Awadhesh and others.
