Mankind Pharma Inaugurates Digital Smart Classrooms, Advancing Community-First Education Under KindCare

Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, January 16, 2026: Mankind Pharma Limited, under its flagship CSR platform KindCare, today inaugurated Digital Smart Classrooms in Ghaziabad, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening technology-enabled education in government schools. The initiative was launched in partnership with SEEDS Impact and inaugurated by Sunil Kumar Sharma, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Information Technology and Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh, in the presence of Sheetal Arora, Chief Executive Officer, Mankind Pharma Limited.
The launch marks a key milestone in Mankind Pharma’s Digital Smart Classroom Initiative, which focuses on improving access to quality education through interactive, technology-driven learning environments in government schools. By prioritising district-level implementation, the initiative reflects a community-first approach aimed at creating meaningful and measurable impact at the grassroots.
As part of the broader programme, 400 Schools in Uttar Pradesh have been targeted, where 460 classrooms are already operational, benefiting thousands of students by enabling curriculum-aligned digital learning. The classrooms leverage tools such as the K-Yan device to deliver audio-visual instruction, enhancing student engagement and comprehension, particularly in schools with limited physical infrastructure.
Beyond infrastructure, the initiative places strong emphasis on teacher empowerment as a driver of sustainable change. To date, more than 2400 teachers have undergone structured training programmes designed to build confidence and capability in integrating digital tools into everyday teaching. These programmes combine hands-on learning, classroom simulations, and ongoing support through helplines and digital communities to ensure consistent and effective adoption.
Speaking at the inauguration, Sunil Kumar Sharma, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Information Technology and Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh, said, “Mankind Pharma deserves recognition for its commitment to strengthening education in underserved communities through the Digital Smart Classroom Initiative. By enabling technology-led learning in government schools, the initiative addresses critical gaps in access and quality at a time when digital literacy is essential for future opportunity. Its community-first approach, with a strong focus on empowering teachers and strengthening local school ecosystems, ensures that the benefits are sustainable and reach those who need them most.
Sheetal Arora, Promoter & CEO, Mankind Pharma Limited, said, “Education has the power to shape not just individual futures but the destiny of communities.
