Chandigarh, April 21, 2026: Member of Parliament from Chandigarh and former Union Minister Manish Tewari inaugurated newly installed CCTV cameras in Sector 48-A. For this project, the MP had sanctioned a grant of ₹5 lakh from his MP quota. On this occasion, Resident Welfare Association President J.J. Singh and other local representatives were also present.
Addressing the gathering, the MP said that residents had been demanding CCTV cameras in the area for a long time. He added that these cameras would help curb criminal activities in the locality. Tewari emphasized that his aim is the overall development of the city. In this direction, he continues to release grants for various development works and remains committed to resolving the issues of the residents.
