Major Boost for Aam Aadmi Party in Ludhiana West, Prominent Social Figures Join the Party
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) achieved another significant boost before the Ludhiana West Assembly by-election. On Wednesday, several prominent social activists and leaders from Ludhiana joined the party. Along with them, over 150 families from the constituency also became part of AAP.

Punjab AAP President Aman Arora, in the presence of Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO, Gurmeet Singh Khuddian, Rajya Sabha MP Raj Kumar Chabbewal, Punjab AAP General Secretary Dr. Sunny Ahluwalia, OSD Rajvir Ghumman and other party leaders, formally inducted and welcomed the new leaders into the party.
Barinder Pratap Singh, who has been serving the people of Ludhiana for years through the Sehyog Welfare Society and is also a national-level cricket player, joined AAP along with Rajpal Singh and several associates.
Prominent Dalit leader Dara Taank also joined Aam Aadmi Party along with his associates, including Master Praveen, Upinder Nagra, Pravesh Chandel, and Davinder Happy.
Addressing the media on this occasion, Aman Arora said that the inclusion of these individuals has further strengthened the party's position in Ludhiana. He stated that the faith of the people of Punjab in the AAP government is continuously increasing. People from every section of society are extending their support to the party and joining in large numbers daily.
He added that a wave of support for AAP is sweeping across Ludhiana West. "We will win this election by a huge margin and break the record set in the Jalandhar West by-election." He further remarked that AAP’s candidate for the by-election, Sanjeev Arora, is leading the race as the people themselves are eager to ensure his victory.
