Hyderabad, March 28, 2026: Mahila Dakshata Samithi and its Educational Institutions conducted a solemn Lamp Lighting Ceremony for the B.Sc Nursing (IX Batch) students at the college auditorium today, marking a significant milestone in their journey towards a noble healthcare profession.
The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Chandrakant Agarwal, Industrialist and Philanthropist, along with Guests of Honour Dr. K. Gayatri, MD, Consultant at Tapadia Diagnostic Centre; Dr. Bala Kumar, Principal, Hindi Mahavidyalaya; H. Swarnalatha, Senior Nursing Officer, NIMS; and Indiramma, Nursing Officer, NIMS, who addressed the gathering and inspired the students.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest, Chandrakant Agarwal, Industrialist and Philanthropist said, “Nursing is one of the most vital pillars of our healthcare system, and in today’s fast-evolving world, the role of nurses has become more important than ever. Dr. Saroj Bajaj, President of Mahila Dakshata Samithi and Educational Institutions, welcomed the dignitaries and expressed heartfelt gratitude for their presence. She felicitated the guests, acknowledging their contributions and support in making the event a grand success.
H. Sushila, Principal of Bansilal Malani College of Nursing, spoke about the legacy of Florence Nightingale, underscoring her exemplary service and the values that continue to inspire the nursing profession. She reiterated that “Service to man is service to God,” emphasizing the critical role of nurses in the healthcare system.
