Ludhiana West Returning Officer leads flag march in constituency
In order to instil a sense of security among voters ahead of the voting day on June 19, Ludhiana West Returning Officer-cum- Additional Deputy Commissioner RP Singh today led a flag march of the Punjab Police in various areas falling under jurisdiction of constituency.

Ludhiana, June 17, 2025: In order to instil a sense of security among voters ahead of the voting day on June 19, Ludhiana West Returning Officer-cum- Additional Deputy Commissioner RP Singh today led a flag march of the Punjab Police in various areas falling under jurisdiction of constituency.
Later after the flag march, Singh said that the district administration was duty-bound to maintain peace and law and order. Flag marches are also a confidence building measures and more such flag marches would be held across the district in the coming days. He added that no anti-social element would be allowed to disturb the peace.
Returning Officer Singh also called upon the people to exercise our vote without any fear and everyone should vote on June 19. He said that entry points of the constituency have been completely sealed and it has been divided into special zones for security purposes. Furthermore, he said that patrolling parties of CAPF and Punjab Police personnel had been deployed to patrol the area besides carrying out foot marching by the security forces especially in the vulnerable areas as part of confidence-building measures in the constituency.
