Ludhiana West by-election- Single window system set up for various permissions to political parties and candidates

Ludhiana, May 29, 2025: In light of the upcoming Ludhiana West by-election and in accordance with the instructions from the Election Commission of India (ECI), a single window system has been implemented in the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Ludhiana. Superintendent Grade-2 (Revenue) Vikas Juneja has been assigned to this initiative at the district level to provide permissions to political parties and candidates for operating video vans and using non-commercial aircraft and helipads.
Additionally, a single window system has also been set up at the assembly level by the Ludhiana West Returning Officer in Room No. 122 on the first floor of the DC Office in Ludhiana. The Accountant Officer of the Ludhiana ADC (Urban Development) Avtar Singh, has been appointed as the nodal officer to grant permissions for public meetings, rallies, processions, the use of loudspeakers, vehicles, and other electioneering activities.
