Ludhiana, July 18, 2025: The Final Account Reconciliation Meeting for Ludhiana West by-elections was conducted here on Friday.
The meeting was held today here in the DC office under chairmanship of Expenditure Observer Indana Ashok Kumar, IRS.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Amarjit Bains alongside other officers of District Expenditure Monitoring Committee, contesting candidates and their election agents.
A comprehensive scrutiny of the candidates' election expenditure and their sources of funds generated was conducted. This included reviewing cash and bank statements, expenditure registers and supporting documents such as bills and vouchers.
The objective was to check that all campaign expenses have been complied as per instructions of Election Commission of India, thereby promoting transparency in the electoral process.
