Ludhiana Basketball Academy trained 3 players find berth in Indian Men’s National Team 

Ludhiana: Basketball in Punjab gets another booster when LBA trained 3 players of Punjab State Team have been selected by BFI to represent the Indian Men Team for the FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers  (Window-2) scheduled  to  be  held  at  Manama,  Bahrain  from  24th November - 1st   December  2020.  

Teja Singh Dhaliwal, the Hon Gen.Secretary of Punjab Basketball Association informs that Princepal Singh and Amjyot Singh Gill have also been drafted by NBA to play in US while Jagdeep Singh Bains is the senior most player  of the LBA from it’s first batch of trainees and has kept his consistency in playing in atleast 10 countries through Indian Team. RSGill ,(EX DGP Pb) is all praise for discipline and dedication of these players. Other senior office bearers of PBA viz Yurinder Singh Hayer(IPS) a Sr.Vice President,J P Singh, MS Bhullaur, P S Bhandal,Balkar S Brar,Suman Sharma (Arjuna Awardee) and Darshan Singh Sandhu(all vice presidents of PBA) also congratulated the players for their selection. 

District Basketball Association Gen Secretary Sukhbir Dhaliwal and Brij Goyal treasurer while complimenting the coaches at LBA said that their hard work has paid dividends as Ludhiana Academy has popularized basketball sport not only in Ludhiana but entire Punjab.
