Ludhiana Architects congratulate Punjab Chapter winners

Ludhiana, September 4, 2026: Leading architects from Ludhiana have congratulated Punjab Chapter’s newly elected team for the term 2026-2028. New team includes Ar. Pritpal Singh Ahluwalia as Chairman, Ar. Dinesh Bhagat as Vice Chairman, Ar. R.S. Sandhu as Treasurer, Ar. Rajan Tangri and Ar. Sanjay Kumar as Joint Secretaries. In addition, ten elected executive members are Ar. Ravinder Singh, Ar. Rakesh Arora, Ar. Mohan Singh, Ar. Pooja Vermani, Ar. Sanchi Goel, Ar. Amanjeet Kaur, Ar. Rajinder Kaur, Ar. Manisha Jindal, Ar. Simranjeet Singh and Ar. Prabhpreet Singh.

The election results were officially declared by the IIA Headquarters in Mumbai following an online election process. Ar. Pritpal Singh Ahluwalia is a practicing architect and has been actively involved in the architectural profession.

The Indian Institute of Architects is the national professional organization representing architects across India, with members spread throughout the country and chapters functioning across various states. The IIA Punjab Chapter has a strong presence across the state through its various centers and sub centers including Ludhiana, Patiala, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Mohali, Bathinda, Kapurthala and Hoshiarpur.

The elections were conducted online and simultaneously providing members across the state an opportunity to participate in the democratic process. Ar. Pritpal Singh Walia expressed his gratitude to the members of the profession for their confidence and support. He emphasized that the new leadership would work towards strengthening the architectural profession, promoting unity among architects, increasing professional opportunities, and creating greater engagement among IIA members across Punjab.

He further stated that the focus of the Punjab Chapter would be on professional growth, unity, knowledge sharing, stronger coordination among IIA centers, and constructive engagement with Government and other stakeholders for the betterment of the architectural profession and the built environment in Punjab.

The newly elected team will work collectively to take forward the objectives of the Indian Institute of Architects and strengthen its presence and activities across Punjab.
