LPU’s 24th Annual Conference ‘Share the Vision’ Sparked a Unified Roadmap for an AI-Driven Education Revolution

Jalandhar: In a spectacular celebration of legacy and ambition, Lovely Professional University marked a colossal milestone of its 24th year of revolutionary impact. The two day annual conference, Sanidhya 2025 – Share the Vision, was an extraordinary gathering where more than 5,500 LPU staff and faculty members came together to reflect on their collective journey and set the stage for a revolutionary future powered by artificial intelligence.

The event celebrated LPU’s storied journey, honoring more than 300 distinguished employees for monumental service of up to 25 years. Esteemed recipients included Dr. Sorabh Lakhanpal, Professor and Executive Dean, Miss Ranju Sharma, Senior Accountant, Dr. Gaurav Sethi, Professor and Additional Dean, and Dr. Amit Dutt, Professor and Dean, whose contributions have been instrumental in shaping the university's legacy.

The celebratory continuum of Sanidhya 2025 unfolded as an expression of togetherness, collaboration, and creative engagement. The campus transformed into a hub of energetic participation with the Uni-Staff Sports Fest, featuring competitive events in Six-a-Side Cricket, Futsal, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, and popular E-Sports titles like BGMI and Free Fire. Creativity and cultural heritage took center stage at the ‘Sanidhya Fashion Show Grand Finale’, where heads of departments dazzled on the runway under the theme ‘VIRASAT: The Royal Legacy’. Further enriching the experience were the Adventure Nature Walk, which combined physical activity with brainstorming on educational innovation, a collaborative Potluck Lunch, and a special Cultural Showcase, all fostering an unparalleled spirit of community. Emerging as the winner of this Adventure Nature Walk was the Centre for Online and Distance Education (CODE), displaying exceptional teamwork and innovative spirit.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU, applauded the collective effort of LPU fraternity behind the year's extraordinary accomplishments. As LPU prepares to enter its Silver Jubilee year in 2026, marking 25 years of an extraordinary journey, Dr. Mittal outlined a clarion call for fundamental transformation. Dr. Mittal articulated the need for a decisive operational flip, championing the adoption of AI, a revolution in branding and marketing, enhanced global placements, student driven revenue generation, and a renewed thrust in research to propel LPU into the top echelons of worldwide university rankings by 2030.
