LPU organized ‘Rangoli’ Competition for Staff-Members

Jalandhar, March 17, 2022: The Human Resource Department at Lovely Professional University (LPU) organized ‘Rangoli’ competition for thousands of its faculty & staff-members at Baldev Raj Mittal Unipolis of the university. The occasion was colourful celebrative ceremony ‘Rang Versity’ on the eve of Holi Festival. During the competition, 50 teams based on hundreds of faculty & staff members participated. All of them used colours and diverse ‘Rangoli’ skills for conveying society oriented messages.

While inaugurating the event, LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal congratulated all at LPU on the eve of one of the most significant festivals of the country-Holi. Mr Mittal wished all to lead a colourful life for the welfare of the society. On this occasion, Pro Chancellor Mrs Rashmi Mittal, Pro Vice Chancellors Prof Dr Lovi Raj Gupta & Prof Dr Sanjay Modi, Registrar Dr Monica Gulati were accompanying him.

Each of the team of competing staff members presented a societal message on a squared base of 3X3 feet, without any assistance of stencils, moulds and modules. The use of justifying colours was all to be valued. Judgement for the winners was made on the basis of overall appearance & appeal; colour combinations; creativity; clarity; and, a suitable message of the ‘Rangoli’ thus formed.
