Jalandhar, May 16, 2026: Rising as a young entrepreneur on a national platform, Vanshika Mittal, a student of Lovely Professional University’s UGC entitled online BBA programme, secured a two shark deal on Shark Tank India Season-5 Campus Special. She shared with students her journey of building a ₹5.28 crore revenue enterprise from an initial investment of just ₹1,000, reflecting on the vision and persistence behind it.
Her crochet based gifting brand, specializing in handcrafted flower bouquets, has rapidly grown into a multi crore venture while generating livelihoods for a large network of women artisans, many of whom work from home.
During her pitch, she impressed the Sharks with her strong business fundamentals and clear understanding of scale and sustainability, securing an investment of ₹1 crore for 8 percent equity from Pratham Mittal, Founder of Tetr College of Business and Master’s Union and Mohit Yadav, Co-Founder of Minimalist. The deal values her business at ₹12 crore valuation and brought not only funding but also strategic backing, further strengthening the brand’s growth trajectory.
Interacting with students, Vanshika shared that entrepreneurial journeys are rarely linear. She encouraged them to explore their passions and remain open to experimentation, emphasizing that this phase of life is meant for trying, failing, and learning. She shared that building meaningful connections and actively engaging with opportunities play a crucial role in shaping one’s path.
Sharing insights from her Shark Tank India journey, Vanshika emphasized the importance of clarity in financials and decision making. Being precise about the investment sought and having a clear plan for its utilisation, she noted, is essential, along with a strong command over numbers. She added that success often comes after multiple attempts, requiring persistence through several trials before achieving the right outcome. Sharing her perspective on growth, she emphasised that marketing should be treated as a core component of learning. She also acknowledged the value of mentorship from industry leaders in strengthening brand strategy and direction.
