Ludhiana, August 17, 2025: Former District Congress Committee President Pawan Dewan said that the festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami symbolizes the victory of good over evil. Lord Krishna has given us the message to walk on the path of good deeds and to work for the welfare of all.
On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Pawan Dewan paid obeisance at Shri Sanatan Dharam Mandir in Jawahar Nagar, Shri Nav Durga Mata Mandir in Sarabha Nagar, and Shri Neelkanth Mahadev Mandir on Pakhowal Road.
Senior Congress leaders including Inderjit Kapoor, Sudhir Syal, Happy Kapoor, Azad Sharma, Pulkit Choudhary, Rohit Sharma, along with other dignitaries, were also present. A great enthusiasm was witnessed among the devotees. The temples were beautifully decorated with devotional tableaux, and arrangements for langar were made.
Pawan Dewan said that he felt truly blessed to be present on this sacred occasion. He extended warm greetings of Janmashtami to all countrymen and appreciated the efforts of the organizers for the well-managed arrangements.
