L.N. Hindu College Students Get a Digital Tour of Library Resources
Students of Lal Nath Hindu College, Rohtak were introduced to the library’s facilities, digital resources and academic services during a library orientation programme organised by the college library department.
Rohtak, September 7, 2026: Students of Lal Nath Hindu College, Rohtak were introduced to the library’s facilities, digital resources and academic services during a library orientation programme organised by the college library department.
The programme was presided over by Principal Dr Anil Kumar Taneja.
Librarian Dr Chitra Sharma briefed students about the objective of the programme and explained the books, study material, services and rules available at the library through a PowerPoint presentation. She also highlighted the importance of digital databases and informed students about the DELNET Inter-Library Loan facility, through which books can be sourced from libraries of other colleges and universities.
Dr Sharma further demonstrated the use of the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) and explained how students can search and access library resources online. She also apprised them of the study material and other resources available for preparation for various competitive examinations.
Dr Pramila, Dr Geeta, Pravesh, Sandeep, Sunaina, Anju Thaman and other staff members were present on the occasion.
