Rohtak, August 2, 2026: The live telecast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address was watched at Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, during the launch of the 'Drug-Free Youth – Developed India' (Nasha Mukt Yuva – Viksit Bharat) pledge campaign, under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Dr. H.K. Aggarwal. Faculty members, doctors, staff, and students were present on the occasion.

Prime Minister Modi launched this nationwide 100-week campaign via video conferencing and called upon the youth to ensure public participation in the fight against drugs. UHSR Vice-Chancellor Dr. H.K. Aggarwal stated that Prime Minister Modi's visionary leadership is providing a new direction and renewed energy to the country's youth. He remarked that this campaign by the Prime Minister is not merely a government program but a mass movement. If every young person pledges to stay away from drugs and raises awareness among their family, friends, and society, India will emerge as a drug-free and more empowered nation in the coming years.

During the event, the Vice-Chancellor administered a drug-free pledge to the gathering, and everyone resolved to abstain from all forms of substance abuse and to spread the message of a drug-free society. Those present included Dean Dr. Ashok Chauhan, Dean Dr. Savita Singhal, Chief Warden Dr. R.S. Chauhan, Dr. Aparna Parmar, Dr. Harneet Singh, Principal Prof. Sunita, and Public Relations Department In-charge Dr. Manjunath, among others.
