Chandigarh, April 5, 2026: GNPS Cricket Academy is set to organize the ‘Late G.S. Banga U-19 T20 Challenger Cup’, aiming to provide a competitive platform for budding cricketers. The tournament will commence on April 6 and continue till April 14, 2026.
All league matches will be played at Guru Nanak Public School, where young cricket talents from the region will showcase their skills and compete at a high level.
According to organiser PMS Banga and Jagteshwar Singh primary objective of the tournament is to nurture emerging players and prepare them for professional cricket by giving them exposure to a competitive environment.
The grand finale is scheduled to be held under lights on April 14 at Cricket Stadium Sector 16, promising an exciting conclusion to the tournament.
Cricket enthusiasts in the city are eagerly looking forward to the event, which is expected to become a significant fixture in Chandigarh’s sporting calendar.
