KMV’s PG Department of English prepares a Wall Magazine on Elizabethan Era

Jalandhar, December 16, 2021: Kanya. Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) inaugurated a Wall Magazine on the theme of ‘Elizabethan Era’. The wall magazine has been prepared by PG Department of English. The students put up a strenuous effort to decorate the board with beautiful charts & students also dressed up as Romeo and Juliet and enacted the famous scenes from the renowned play ‘Romeo & Juliet’ by William Shakespeare. The students of the English department came dressed up as Dr Faustus, which is a famous Elizabethan tragedy & also showed its importance in the contemporary times as well. The theme of getting driven by the evil things while the good in us struggles to balance things was showcased. Principal Dr. Atima sharma Dwivedi inaugurated the wall magazine with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony and averred that activities like these give the students a platform to showcase their creativity and talent. Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Head, PG Department of English & all the students for successfully preparing the wall.
