KMV’s NCC Cadets Excel at Combined Annual Training Camp

NCC cadets of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), Jalandhar, showcased exemplary enthusiasm and dedication during the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) held recently at Jalandhar Cantt. The 10-day camp was organized by the 2 Pb (G) Bn NCC Jalandhar in collaboration with the Indian Army, aiming to provide cadets with hands-on experience of military life and training.

Jalandhar, October 18, 2025: NCC cadets of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), Jalandhar, showcased exemplary enthusiasm and dedication during the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) held recently at Jalandhar Cantt. The 10-day camp was organized by the 2 Pb (G) Bn NCC Jalandhar in collaboration with the Indian Army, aiming to provide cadets with hands-on experience of military life and training.

Throughout the camp, cadets participated in intensive sessions on drill, weapon training, first aid, communication skills, and leadership development. They also gained valuable insights into the weapons and equipment used by the Indian Army. In addition, the Army conducted informative lectures and workshops on SSB preparation, leadership qualities, and defense awareness, which helped enhance the cadets’ confidence, discipline, and decision-making abilities.

This camp also served as an eligibility requirement for cadets aspiring to appear for the ‘BEE’ and ‘CEE’ certificate examinations.

Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi emphasized that such training programs are a crucial part of holistic education and play a significant role in shaping confident, disciplined, and responsible citizens. She appreciated Lt. Sufalica Kalia for providing such enriching opportunities that empower young women to emerge as future soldiers of the nation.

Commanding Officer Col. R.S. Lehal lauded the cadets’ excellent performance and dedication, highlighting the importance of defense training in fostering leadership and national pride among youth.
