Jalandhar, December 21, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence as the students of M.A. (Journalism & Mass Communication) Semester III showcased an outstanding performance in the end semester examinations. The results reflect the students’ academic dedication and the department’s focus on outcome-based, skill-oriented, and industry-relevant education. Notably, four students secured distinction, underlining the high academic standards upheld by the institution. Agam and Vidisha jointly secured the First Position with an excellent SGPA of 9.00 each. Pranjali and Vinakshi attained the Second Position with a commendable SGPA of 8.73 each, while Aman secured the Third Position with an impressive SGPA of 8.55.
Congratulating the achievers, Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi applauded the students for their consistent hard work, perseverance, and academic commitment. She stated that such commendable results reflect the institution’s learner-centric approach and the dedicated mentoring provided by the faculty. She further motivated the students to uphold ethical standards in journalism and continuously upgrade their skills to meet the evolving demands of the media industry.
Prof. Dr. Dwivedi also lauded the efforts of the faculty of the PG Department of Journalism & Mass Communication for their guidance, which played a significant role in shaping confident and competent media professionals.
