Jalandhar, October 16, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) is all set to organise its much-awaited Diwali Fiesta – An Exhibition-cum-Sale on October 17, 2025, at the KMV campus. Sharing details, Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi informed that the event will be inaugurated at 10:30 a.m. and will witness the gracious presence of Chandar Mohan, President, Arya Shiksha Mandal, as the Chief Guest.
Prominent members of the KMV Managing Committee including Dr. Sushma Chawla (Vice President), Alok Sondhi (General Secretary), Dr. Sushma Chopra (Secretary), Neerja Chandra Mohan, Anuradha Sondhi, Suresh Seth, Dr. Satpal Gupta, Dr. Kamal Gupta, and other distinguished members will also grace the occasion.
The exhibition will showcase the creativity and innovation of students from various departments including Fashion Designing, Cosmetology, Fine Arts, Journalism and Mass Communication, English, Home Science, Food Science, Microbiology, Retail Management, and Hospitality and Tourism.
In tune with the festive spirit of Diwali, the exhibition will feature an array of beautifully crafted items such as sweets, delicacies, diyas, jewellery, gift items, suits, sarees, jute bags, towel sets, kurtis, table runners, gel candles, epoxy crafts, herbal soaps, sustainable vegetable bags, and other home décor products—all created by KMV students.
Prof. Dwivedi warmly invited the residents of Jalandhar to visit the KMV campus, explore the exhibition, and celebrate the festive season with the KMV family. She congratulated the entire organising team and expressed confidence that the event would, as always, achieve great success and appreciation from the community.
