KMVites participate in Fit India Run Movement

Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment with Top National and State Rankings by India Today Survey of Best Colleges 2020 (various categories) always look forward to attain new pinnacles even amidst the challenging times. In the same view, NCC Cadets of KMV participated in Fit India Run movement.
They were initiated into the activity by Group Commander Jalandhar Group Brigadier Advitya Madaan and inspired by CO 2Pb 6 BN NCC Jalandhar Narendra Toor. This movement will continue till 2nd October 2020. The aim of this activity is crystal clear, it targets making physical activity an inseparable part of daily routine in order to keep all healthy & fit. Total 20 cadets of KMV almost covered 60 kilometres of area and in course of that these cadets also inspired all the people around the area to run and stay fit. 

Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that Prime Minister of India Mr Narendar Modi started this movement to keep India physically fit in this unprecedented challenge posed by COVID-19. These cadets of KMV by participating in this movement has sent a strong message that we should not lower our guard against the pandemic till a permanent solution is arrived at. 

Principal lauded all the NCC Cadets for participating in this movement and also lauded the efforts of Lt. Seema Arora, Incharge NCC for motivating the cadets.
