Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has once again made the institution proud as its Mathematics students brought laurels at the International Vedic Mathematics Olympiad, organized by the UK based Institute for Advancement of Vedic Mathematics. Competing against participants from 10 countries, KMV students showcased exceptional speed, accuracy, and conceptual clarity in the Open Category.
Demonstrating outstanding mathematical skills through Vedic techniques, the students Diksha (B.Sc. (Computer Science) Semester-V), Gagandeep Kaur (M.Sc. (Mathematics) (FYIP) Semester-III), Dilpreet Kaur (M.Sc. (Mathematics) Semester-III) secured Silver Medal and Rupinder Kaur (M.Sc. Their remarkable success is attributed to their sharp reasoning ability as mathematics students and their rigorous training under the Certificate Course in Vedic Mathematics offered by the institution. This IKS integrated course has significantly enhanced their mental calculation speed, analytical thinking, and conceptual clarity.
Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the medal winners and appreciated the efforts of the faculty members for their mentorship and encouragement.
