KMV organizes Vibrant Poetry Recitation Program Celebrating Literary Classics
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) PG Department of English organized a highly successful Poetry Recitation Program, marked by the spirited participation of students from M.A. FYIP Semester VI and M.A. Semester II.
Jalandhar, March 26, 2026: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) PG Department of English organized a highly successful Poetry Recitation Program, marked by the spirited participation of students from M.A. FYIP Semester VI and M.A. Semester II. The event served as a celebration of literary heritage, featuring expressive recitations of timeless classics such as W.H. Davies’ Leisure, William Wordsworth’s My Heart Leaps Up, Robert Frost’s Fire and Ice and The Road Not Taken, and William Shakespeare’s Sonnet 18.
The students’ dedication and polished presentations received high praise from Director Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi. In her address, Dr. Dwivedi commended the participants for their remarkable confidence and sincere efforts in bringing complex literary themes to life. To honor their commitment and diligence, certificates were awarded to the participants, recognizing their active role in making the event a success.
Beyond the performances, the program emerged as a significant academic and creative milestone for the department. It provided a vital platform for students to articulate their ideas effectively, bridge the gap between theoretical study and creative expression, and enhance their research and communication abilities.
