KMV organises free eye check up camp

Jalandhar, August 25, 2022: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised a free eye check up camp in collaboration with HDFC bank. The camp was organised by Department of Student Welfare and Red Ribbon Club. 

Dr. Vijay Laxmi along with her team from Arora Eye Hospital came for the check-up. Students as well as faculty members eyes were checked by the staff of the hospital free of cost. 

More than 250 students turned up for the check-up and students were advised to change their specs and were also asked to wear specs. Students were also told how the sun rays and dust particles harm the eyes and were told about the preventive measures to be taken for protection. 

Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Dr. Madhumeet, Dean Student Welfare & Dr Shikha Vashisht for the successful organisation of this camp. She averred that these types of initiatives are organised from time to time in the college for the healthy growth of the students as healthy mind can dwell only in healthy body.
