KMV organises extension lecture on Me and My Creation

Jalandhar, April 20, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised an extension lecture on Me and my creation. 

The lecture was organised by PG Department of Punjabi. Dr. Varayam Singh Sandhu, a renowned Punjabi literary figure was the resource person for the lecture. Addressing the students, he shared his personal experiences and also inspired them to learn from literature for life, while discussing his interest in literature writing. He emphasised that the subject of any writer's composition is based on various aspects of society, which he presents with his imagination in the form of words, leaving an impression on the readers' minds. He considered a writer's composition successful only when it is capable of making readers' life paths easier. Furthermore, he answered various questions asked by students in a very simple manner, advising them to gain comprehensive knowledge about different concepts of literature and good literature. 

Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi expressed gratitude to Dr. Varayam Singh Sandhu for providing important information to the students and discussed the positive impact of literature on human life, mentioning that KMV regularly organises various events to instil a passion for literature among students. She 
lauded the efforts Dr. Harpreet Kaur, Head, PG Department of Punjabi and the staff members for the successful organization of this event.
