KMV organises Alumni speaks- A Series of inspirational talks

Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya has successfully commenced Alumni Speaks- a series of inspirational talks under which renowned and prominent alumni of KMV will be addressing KMVites online in order to inspire them. Under this series, the first inspirational talk was organized by the PG Department of Computer Science and Applications which is ranked topmost in ‘Best Value for Money Category’ in India and amongst Top 30 colleges of India as per India Today Survey 2020. 

The guest speaker for the webinar was Mrs. Ramika Julka from USA.  She has been a student of MSc Computer Science at KMV and has worked at Infosys and Amdocs. During the webinar, Mrs. Ramika Julka shared her own experiences of life and her journey of becoming an IT Professional in a very interesting and simple manner. She also had a very interesting Tete-a-Tete session with students where she answered  various questions by students. Many young students participated in the webinar and interacted with Mrs. Ramika Julka. Mrs. Ramika Julka explained various job aspect in IT industry and also explained the importance of a goal or the ambition in one’s life as she said that if a person has a clear goal and ambition in her mind then no power on earth can stop him or her from achieving that goal. 

Principal  Prof.  Dr.Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV has empowered the women by giving them the required skills in IT and other disciplines so that they should become self reliant in this highly competitive world. She maintained that this type of webinar is very essential for the students as it gives them a very accurate information regarding the skills required to make a powerful career in the IT world as it motivates the students to follow their dreams fearlessly & confidently. 
Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Suman Khurana and Dr. Pardeep Arora from  PG Department of Computer Science and all the faculty members of PG Department of Computer Science for successfully organising this inspirational talk.
