KMV Marks Major Research Milestone with 77 National and International Intellectual Property Rights

Jalandhar, May 28, 2026: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) continues to uphold its legacy of academic excellence and innovation through remarkable achievements in the field of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
The institution has successfully secured a total of 77 IPRs, including Patents, Copyrights, and Designs, at national as well as international levels granted by Patent Office, Government of India. Adding to this impressive record, 10 IPRs have been achieved in the most recent academic session 2025–26, reflecting the institution’s continuous and growing research output. These accomplishments span diverse domains such as science, healthcare innovations, analytical devices, sports and fitness equipment, fashion designing, fine arts, and applied sciences, highlighting KMV’s strong interdisciplinary research culture. The portfolio includes patents granted and published, design registrations, and creative copyrights, along with international recognition through a prestigious UK patent grant. The wide-ranging innovations developed at the institution demonstrate a strong focus on practical applicability, societal relevance, and creative excellence, contributing meaningfully to knowledge advancement and skill development. Director Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi expressed her appreciation for these achievements and emphasized that KMV remains committed to fostering an ecosystem that promotes innovation, research excellence, and intellectual property creation.
