Kanya Maha Vidyalaya successfully commences COVID vaccination centre in collaboration with Civil administration at Jalandhar today.

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya successfully commenced COVID vaccination centre in collaboration with Civil administration to provide vaccine to all above the age of 18. The vaccination centre was inaugurated by Mr Ghanshyam Thori, Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar. This centre will provide vaccines to all the citizens who will pre book their slots using the online platform. 

Throwing more light on it, Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV is a national institution, and it’s our responsibility to serve the society. The vaccination centre will be having a team of doctors and medical staff  from Civil Hospital who will be taking care of the smooth execution of vaccination to the registered people & moreover, the vaccination centre will be open for all the citizens above the age of 18. She further maintained that the younger generation should get vaccinated as soon as possible so that we all together can make India a COVID free country as students’ education has been much impacted by this pandemic. 

Prof. Dwivedi adumbrated that this initiative in collaboration with district administration is in continuance with our humble efforts to fight the pandemic and providing services to the citizens for COVID care. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ghanshyam Thori said that KMV is doing a great service to the society by realising its responsibility of selflessly serving the society in this time of crisis. He further said that this vaccination centre will be a great facility to the city residents. 

On this occasion, the NCC cadets of KMV who have done commendable service during the pandemic times were also honoured by Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Gurjot, Dr Pardeep, Dr Sonik & Dr Iqbal for successfully organising the vaccination centre.
