Jalandhar, May 16, 2026: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has always been committed to the holistic development of its students, acknowledging that true education extends far beyond academic achievement. Upholding this vision, KMV IIC in collaboration with PG Departmrnt of Commerce and Business Administration organised a Poster Presentation Competition on Business Plan with the aim of promoting innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial thinking among students.
More than 100 students actively participated in the event. The participants were divided into groups of 4–5 students and each group was assigned the task of preparing a poster based on a business plan. This collaborative approach encouraged teamwork, idea sharing and collective decision-making among students. Each group worked diligently to conceptualize innovative business ideas and present them effectively through visually appealing posters.
During the presentation session, a representative of each group confidently explained their business idea to the judges and audience. Students elaborated on the uniqueness of their concepts, their practical applicability and the potential benefits of their proposed ventures. The evaluation of the posters was based on various criteria such as innovation, clarity of concept, feasibility, presentation skills and overall creativity. The event not only assessed students’ knowledge but also enhanced their confidence in public speaking and idea presentation.
Director Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi commended the dedicated efforts of the teachers in organizing the event so efficiently and encouraged students to embrace creativity and innovation in their academic pursuits. She lauded the efforts of Dr. Rashmi Sharma (Convenor, KMV IIC), Dr. Rashmi Bindra and Ritu.
