Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised The Art of Living workshop. The workshop was organised by Department of Student Welfare for boarders in the hostel premises. The main objective of this workshop was to make students aware of how to foster well-being through breath, meditation & yoga programs and make life a celebration.

Jalandhar, March 30, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised The Art of Living workshop. The workshop was organised by Department of Student Welfare for boarders in the hostel premises. The main objective of this workshop was to make students aware of how to foster well-being through breath, meditation & yoga programs and make life a celebration. 

The workshop was presided by Vivek Vansal, Saloni Kalra, Mamata Gupta and Monika Sondhi. In their talk they mainly focused on the solutions for a stress free and  happy life, cultivating mindfulness, embracing personal growth, finding balance between personal life and professional life and pursuing passions through time management. They made the session intriguing by engaging the students in various concentration games and exercises to improve focus & also made the students understand how to focus and relax at the same time. The experience was very enlightening and invaluable, offering practical tools for both personal as well as academic growth for students. 

Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi extended her gratitude towards the resource persons and also lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare for organising such insightful workshop for boarders that helps to navigate life’s challenges with resilience, kindness and gratitude, continually seeking wisdom and joy in everyday life.
