KMV Crowned Overall Champions at Umang- Inter-college Festival
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has once again reinforced its legacy of excellence by securing the Overall Trophy at the inter-college competition Umang, organized by Hindu Kanya College. Showcasing remarkable versatility, students from Kanya Maha Vidyalaya participated in 11 events and emerged victorious in seven, reflecting their strong presence across multiple domains.
Jalandhar, March 19, 2026: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has once again reinforced its legacy of excellence by securing the Overall Trophy at the inter-college competition Umang, organized by Hindu Kanya College. Showcasing remarkable versatility, students from Kanya Maha Vidyalaya participated in 11 events and emerged victorious in seven, reflecting their strong presence across multiple domains.
The institution excelled in both creative and intellectual competitions, securing first positions in Quiz, Cultural Confluence, Bridal Makeup, and Nail Art. Adding to this impressive tally, KMV students also bagged second place in Creative Canvas and Face Painting. This consistent and outstanding performance ultimately led to the college being crowned the overall champion of the festival.
Further bringing laurels to the institution, KMV students delivered an exceptional performance at the APJ Spark competition. Demonstrating a fine blend of artistic expression and oratory skills, they secured first place in Solo Singing and Debate. Their creativity was further acknowledged with a second-place finish in Collage Making and a third-place award in On-the-Spot Painting.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the students on their remarkable achievements. She highlighted that such accomplishments reflect the holistic development, dedication, and competitive spirit nurtured at the institution. She further emphasized that these accolades are a testament to the students’ hard work and the unwavering support and mentorship provided by the faculty.
