KMV contributes relief material for Punjab Flood victims under KMV Relief Drive

Jalandhar, September 11, 2025: In a heartening show of empathy, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) launched KMV Relief Drive for the flood-affected people in Punjab. Department of Social Outreach & Department of Student Welfare launched the drive. Relief material containing various consumable items like rice, wheat, refined oil, sugar, tea, toothpaste, brushes, combs and other important things for the flood victims was contributed by the college. It is pertinent to mention that this is the first phase of Flood Relief help by KMV.
College teachers as well as students under the leadership of Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi collaborated for this contribution. All the relief items were handed over to the Red Cross Society by the college so that the material could be provided to the victims at the earliest.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi emphasised that in this time of crisis, we should all understand our responsibilities and should stand together for the people who are facing major crises in Punjab. She further maintained that we should all join hands together in bringing hope & smiles back to the Punjab flood-hit areas. Principal lauded the efforts made by Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Student Welfare Department & Dr. Monica Sharma, Dean, Social Outreach for launching the drive successfully.
